STRATEGY & TEAM ALIGNMENT

“My model for business is The Beatles. They balanced each other and the total was greater than the sum of the parts. That's how I see business: great things in business are never done by one person, they're done by a team of people.”

– STEVE JOBS

High-performing organizations have high performing, highly-aligned leadership teams. Leaderology facilitates a process whereby your leadership team gains alignment around the strategic intent and objectives for the organization. Leaders are then able to explore how to address current roadblocks that are preventing your organization or team from reaching the strategic objectives or optimal performance. Leadership teams are left with an actionable and accountable plan to ensure strategy and team alignment. It is our intent to help your leadership team be aware and aligned to the SCOPE of your organization.

Work together. Win together.

"Collaboration is everything.”

– MARISSA WALDMAN, Leaderology CEO

SCOPE

The first step in moving from a peer to a leader is taking a holistic survey of your world through your SCOPE.

The SCOPE model provides the context for your leadership: it both impacts and is impacted by your behaviors and actions as a leader. It tells us where and how to flex our leadership style to better suit the needs of our teams and communities of effort. It informs where and how we need to be the most fearlessly authentic. And it demonstrates the critical impact psychological safety has on our teams, processes and overall results.

This is why, when we work with a leader or organization, the very first thing we assess is their unique DNA. No organization has a single, enterprise-wide SCOPE: each individual, team and department have their own unique cultures they operate within (and from), so a specific SCOPE must be assessed for each.

Each of the five core elements of SCOPE interacts with the others, influencing the ways we attempt to maximize the excellence of the individual, team and organization as a whole.

Strategy

The organization’s goal-oriented approach to resource deployment and action.

Culture

The shared beliefs, values and customs that comprise an organization’s unique environment.

Objectives

The highest level goals, vision or depiction of organizational success.

Purpose

The organization’s core reason(s) for being.

Ecosystem

The key internal and external stakeholders that exist in the organization’s value chain, including employees, vendors and customers.

By continually assessing and aligning the individual or team’s SCOPE with the organization’s SCOPE, leaders can remain in lock-step with the evolution of their organization, affecting true and lasting change.

Rather than trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, we bust out our tools and craft a custom solution for an organization or individual’s unique needs. (That tool kit being the LeadershipSOPs.)
